Thank you to all who participated this past weekend in the Community Challenge! We had 12 teams out to play two six end games, some stick curling challenges on the side, a great dinner, prizes and a Video dance donated by Tammy. It was great to see some young hockey players from our own Sturgeon Falls Lynx’s come out and give our ice a try! A couple players from Russia tried to teach us their language!
Big thank you again this year to Mike Stevens and his Crew from Dutrisac cottages donating the spaghetti dinner. We also would like to thank Jean Guy Rubber Boots, Stop and Shop, Your Idea Weight Loss Clinic, Eastlink and Mac’s Office supplies for their support!
We raised over $1300.00 in this one day fun spiel! Well done MEL!
