Friday night Mixed League year end party doubled as a “kick-off” to wish Karen & Dean all the best on their journey to Saskatoon this coming week. With the lack of funding from the NOCA and Curling Canada once again West Nipissing stepped up in supporting our athletes on this journey to the Canadian Championships. We received great corporate sponsors donations as well as some individuals kicking in to help cover the cost for travel, meals, uniforms and lodging. Our club executive, members & leagues also kicked into the slush fund so Karen and Dean can concentrate on the curling at hand.

We will try and provide a daily update as the first game starts Wed. Apr 5th @ 8:30pm vs Jennifer Jones/ Brent Lang. Saturday morning CBC.ca is to start live streaming the event and we look forward to seeing how this coverage will be.
