The open doubles curling league is on Thursday evenings with draws starting at 6:30 and 8:15 pm
What’s Different?
- It is an exciting format with 2 people per team.
- An entire game can be played in approximately 75 minutes!
- Teams only have six stones in an end and two (one of each colour) are positioned before each end starts.
- Each team delivers five (5) stones per end.

BONSPIELS AND FUNSPIELS
Every year the Sturgeon Falls Curling Club hosts a Mixed, Ladies’ and Men’s Bonspiel. The club also hosts other Funspiels and special events throughout the season.
LEAGUES FOR ALL AGES
We offer a Senior’s drop in league on Monday and Thursday, a Tuesday night ladies’ league, a Wednesday night men’s league, a Thursday night open doubles league as well as a Friday night open mixed league. We have a Youth Learn to Curl programs on Monday (Little Rocks) and Wednesday (Juniors), and an Adult Learn to Curl program on Monday evenings.
